Lights in the Dark

Hi Everyone,

The events we are living through now feel big- too big for my psyche to handle. Ever since Elul I have been thinking about Hashem's unconditional love for us- אני לדודי ודודי לי. Maybe it's my coping mechanism but I'm trying to focus on the small things He gives us.

Today there was no traffic. Is that really important? We're in a war. 

Yes, it is important. The bus came on time and the kids made it to school. These are spots of brightness.

War is too big for me. I know it's here. But instead of getting caught up in the uncertainty I am trying to focus on His unconditional love.

The women from the South (and North) who are benefiting from your donations have experienced incredible struggles over the last few weeks and they are so strong and resilient. They share with us amazing examples of Hashem's love within the apparent darkness. Just their being and smiling reminds us that we each can choose Life. To see Hashem's love for us and to notice the incredible ways He cares for each of us... To allow ourselves to feel His love.

We try to emulate Him in the store by creating a feeling of love and acceptance towards everyone who walks in. Now, more than ever, thanks to your help, we are able to help so many different women feel loved unconditionally. Together we have distributed over 200 brand-new items so far and we are not stopping!
