STILL NOT HOME
Hey Everyone,
I have been thinking a lot about our brothers and sisters who are still not HOME.
Two weeks ago I was in New York (shopping for you) and everyone asked how it is in Israel; I felt kind of silly because things have been quiet in Yerushalayim and sometimes we can almost forget that there is a war still raging. I do know that, like me, many of you walk around with a pervading sense of nervousness and we feel tension in the air.
On Tu' B'Shvat I was zoche to participate in a fruit decorating event at the Ramada hotel with our sisters from Sderot and Ashkelon who have not had a kitchen since Yom Tov. They have not cut vegetables, washed dishes and pots in their sink or cleaned their kitchens. The things that bring us frustration would bring them the greatest joy.
We have continued our pledge to help the women and teens from the South who need winter clothes. If you are able to help us please visit our website to make a tax-deductible donation. We also plan to continue our EVERYWHEN, EVERYBODY, EVERYTHING campaign to donate new clothing to women displaced by the war until they are able to go home. For every item purchased at regular price we will donate one similar item. You should know that you are partaking in a great mitzva- the women are so gratified that they are not forgotten.
While in NY I was buying for both the upcoming spring and fall seasons (it's confusing and hard to keep track :-)). The new styles are starting to ship and should be here soon. In preparation, the entire store (except the basic skirts) is now 40% OFF. We have great pieces in all sizes to choose from.
Can't wait to shop together!
Wishing all of us a chodesh full of SIMCHA!!!!
